Miss Ruth- Owner/Director

Miss. Ruth formally started her dance training at Lynn Morrison School of Ballet at the age of three and continued her studies at the National Ballet School, where she performed with the Kirov Ballet in their production of "Sleeping Beauty" and Ryerson University, where she trained with instructors such as Nadia Potts, Karen DuPlessis, Vicky St. Denys, Stelio Calagias and Maureen Consolati.
Ruth is a well traveled dancer having competed and performed throughout Canada, United States, Great Britain, and Scotland. Ruth was selected to compete and perform in Hawaii when she was 17, where she was honored to be a part of the group who performed during the half time show at the Pro-Bowl that year. Ruth has completed her Associate exam with the British Association Teachers of Dance (BATD) as well as passing the Advanced Ballet exams from the Imperial Society Teachers of Dance and BATD, and the Advanced I Ballet Exam from the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) all with Honours. Ruth did her first Solo Seal Award Performance at the age of 16, and although she was unsuccessful, it was one of the greatest moments in her dancing career.
Ruth's passion for dance and her love of teaching has brought her full circle to one of the most exciting moments in her life, opening her own studio. Her goal is to ensure that all her dancers receive structured ballet training that continues to build upon their knowledge and development of dance.
Ruth is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of dancers and providing them with strong ballet technique that will allow them to pursue other forms of dance as well as give them the discipline and confidence they need to succeed in life.

Faculty

Our teachers love to dance and they share this passion with each of their students. It is important that our teachers not only have dance training but they should either possess or be working towards their teaching certificate through a recognized dance association or post-secondary education in dance and/or have solid industry experience to teach our students.
